This piece was done for a very
dear friend who decided her entry hall needed a large piece. She
suggested a dragon, so this is the result. There was some confusion as
to the size of the space, so the final piece (width in excess of 7
feet) ended up barely fitting the space. She had to rent a truck up
here in the northwest and find a willing driver to get it to her home
in southern California. The piece is mixed media (fabric, bling,
cording, and acrylic) mounted on canvas. I used brick molding and wood
strips to make the frame.
