This
piece was inspired by the impulse to use an incredible amount of
costume Jewelry and beads accumulated over many years, and much more
was provided by friends after they learned of the project. She
was created on an old lamp stand, using a dress form, old lamp parts, a
styrofoam head from Archie McFee, hands obtained from a display
company, tons of fix-all mixed with glue to join pieces and make it
strong, and some reinforcement metal which was added well into the
project as the considerable weight began to topple her. The base is
mounted onto a turn table so she can be rotated.
